Our Initiative

When we first met, we deeply connected through our innate devotion to helping individuals overcome challenges,  as well as clarifying the changes they want to make in their lives.   Through many discussions delving into our unique individual styles of inspiring others, it was clear that together we would make an unstoppable coaching team.

 

JS Coaching clients become motivated to maximize their personal and/or professional potential through our thought-provoking and creative process by harmonizing mind, body, and spirit.  We are grateful for the opportunity to help our clients channel their inner drive and energy more effectively.  Enabling them to no longer feel that something is missing in their lives has been incredibly rewarding.  We are humbled to witness our clients achieve their goals and live their

Our Process

In the last 20 years, life coaching has experienced rapid growth and wide acclaim due to the desires of many to make the most out of their lives.  At JS Coaching, we believe that there is a definitive mind-body connection.  Our clients schedule a separate session with each of us every week, and together we form a dynamic coaching team.

 

Jim Stroker has been emphasizing wellness and mindfulness techniques for years.  Jim uses his unique ability to inspire and motivate our clients to make changes in their lives and overcome challenges and adversity.  He meets with clients at our training facility and partners with each individual to explore their specific wellness goals. Together they design a plan that includes exercise, nutrition, breathing, meditation, and healthy sleep habits. 

 

Jocelyn Sokol meets with clients at our office and helps them move forward in their lives through sessions utilizing effective exercises, visualization, and self-exploration.  They clarify their visions, define their goals, and

co-create a step-by-step action plan.  They explore and define their core values, and learn how to honor them more in their lives for optimal fulfillment. They learn to develop long lasting life skills of self-compassion, positive

self-talk, stress management and resiliency.

Our Team

Jim Stroker

Jim Stroker is a Wellness Coach, Global Motivational Speaker,  Certified Emotional Intelligence Facilitator,  Certified Trainer, and Certified Yoga Instructor.  For over 35 years, Jim was a beloved and widely renowned Teacher and Hall of Fame Coach in Ridgewood, NJ.
Jim experienced trauma when he lost his father at a young age, and again when his two young children were in a life-altering car accident.  He learned how to rise up in the face of adversity using gratitude and resiliency.  To hear Jim tell his story is to live it, and his lifetime of experience empowers others to conquer adversity and thrive not just in spite of it, but because of it. Jim is a powerhouse of contagious positive energy, and has a wealth of experience in understanding how to bring out the inner strengths in others.

Jocelyn Sokol

Jocelyn Sokol, CPCC, is a Certified Professional Co-active Coach, who is passionate about unleashing the unlimited potential that lies within every individual. She earned her Psychology degree at Syracuse University and was trained and certified by the highly acclaimed Coaches Training Institute in New York City. CTI is accredited by the International Coaching Federation, of which Jocelyn is also a member.  Jocelyn’s intensive training and expansive coaching experience leads clients through a transformative process in which the overwhelming becomes reality.
